you’ve found yourself in our corner of the old web, please explore! smush is a brooklyn based band originally from vancouver, canada. we are a songwriting duo consisting of emily and atley king, and this project can be summed up as a product of our love for each other. we met in 2020, started the band in 2022, posted our first youtube video in 2023 and released our debut album, ‘if you were here i’d be home now’ in the later half of 2024. with jay christie’s careful drumming to keep us all on track. lovingly recorded and mixed by jordan koop (the noise floor) and mastered by brock mcfarlane (cps mastering). while you're here you can read our blog where we post monthly, read articles and interviews, and of course, indulge in some early internet nostalgia with us.
